My sandwich was soooooo ENORMOUS that I couldn't even fit my whole mouth around it, and let me tell you guys, I have a pretty BIG mouth!

My sandwich was pastrami with lettuce, tomato, bacon, tomato basil pesto, mayo, avocado, and olives all on a whole wheat bread...you gotta stay healthy and fit for the ladies, you feel me? Dudes, seriously, the BEST sandwich ever! I am not joshin' ya here folks, you gotta try it! If you go there and don't like what you order, I will personally buy your next meal from any dining place on the Cal State East Bay campus. Take my word for it and go try it out, you won't regret it! I am a tellin' ya!!

If you've never been before, you need to check out a Boomers Park near you! The closest one in the Bay Area is in Livermore and let me tell you, it is heeeeeeella fun!!! It has so many different activites and, more importantly, for peeps of all ages! I decided to go Miniature Golfing when I went... (and I am a mean golfer, I might add!)

...but there are other attractions such as Go Karts, Bumper Boats (which is great on a HOT sunny day), Laser Tag, and a HUGE Game Room with lots of different video and ticket-winning games to play! It is a great place to have a birthday party for kids or just a fun day with family, friends, or both! If you plan to make a trip one day, you should check online first because they always have promotions and deals that will make your day! Check out the website at Boomers!

World Cup 2010 and Nike "Write the Future"

It's almost time for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and you better believe the Charlestons will be watching. The World Cup games begin June 11th and will feature all the best soccer players from all over the world. USA plays their first game against England and it looks like it is going to be an epic game. Make sure you check it out.




In preparation for the World Cup Nike released this lengthy ad featuring some of the most famous soccer players in the world such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney, Tim Howard, and Ronaldinho. The ad also features cameos from Homer Simpson and Kobe Bryant. The ad depicts how player's life could be depending on their performance on the soccer. These marketing people at Nike are freakin genius!

Chase + Zachary’s Pizza = OMG!

What up peeps? I went to Zachary’s Pizza tonight. It was so freakin good! Who knew Chicago style pizza could be so good in Cali! HA, Yeah! I got the spinach and mushroom pizza since it was sickly popular amongst the yelpers. It was damn tasty too. No wonder they’ve gotten so many awards!

If you haven’t heard of Zach’s, you are seriously trippin! It’s the best deep dish on the west coast.  I went to the Oakland location. Beware, parking sucks! Don’t order the thin crust either, it seriously disappoints. They only have three types of beer, but you can order a pitcher and get wasted in half an hour.

The staff is insanely nice too, and though you will wait 45 minutes before getting to dive in to your pizza, you will forget all about it when you take that first bite!

Sock Puppets Dig Froyo

Froyo dudes! Chuck here for Checking In With The Charlestons! If you don't know by now froyo is short for frozen yogurt and these places are popping up every where these days! Tonight I went out and got some from a killer spot called the Yogurt Train in Union City. This little yogurt shop is in a shopping center right next to James Logan High School on Alvarado Niles Road. They have a bunch of killer flavors like chocolate, kiwi, strawberry, mango, cheesecake, and apple. But what the Yogurt Train has on all the other weak froyo spots is the toppings! You can put anything you want on this stuff! I'm talking from fresh fruit to fruity pebbles! Check out the topping bar!

After carefully considering my toppings, I decided to go with white chocolate chips, mango, and kiwi. Dude, you know I had to go with some fresh fruit to stay in shape as the most athletic Charleston. I also went with the plain yogurt, gotta watch those extra calories. But dude, this stuff is awesome!

Yea I pretty much passed out after eating this stuff. It hit the spot in so many ways. If you haven't tried froyo yet, you better jump on it! That's it for now. Catch ya later dudes!

Chuck Charleston Plays Above The Rim

Que pasa Dudes??? Chuck here, checking in after a little basketball game with the bros. You already know my favorite sport is baseball, but that's not all I'm good at. This Charleston was blessed with all the real athletic talent in the family. I'm also the hoops star out of us three bros. Dude, I bet you have never seen a sock puppet ball like this in your life! If someone were to describe my game, it would be a mix between Lebron James and Kobe Bryant. Bball is a great way to keep this bod in shape for the ladies, and it is fun dunking on dudes every now and then.

The 99th Annual BAY TO BREAKERS!

...And Chase is going, hells yeah! Bay to Breakers is a super freak show. A bunch of crazies, including myself show up in the city and race from the bay to the ocean, hence "Bay TO Breakers!" where the waves break, yeah?

Anyway, this is not your typical race. There are some very serious runners, IF you can even call them serious. The naked guys usually do the best. I went naked last year. Well, I kept my hat on though, you know. BUT, I was naked!!! Swear by it!

Be ready to see some drunks. This event attracts serious partiers. These are my peeps! IF your lookin' to get wasted, watch out for cars! I almost got hit a few times.

If you make it there by 8AM when the race starts, you get to see the tortilla tossing event. I miss it every year. Who gets up at 8 in the morning?

Hey guys...Chase here! So this is me this morning right before I left for the gym. I go to Bally...obviously. With summer coming up and all I figured I better kick it up a notch and really get my work out on. I exercise daily....as you all should but hey a guys gotta look good for the ladies in the summer. get the 6 pack goin, the arms, the shoulders you know how I do it! I'm really tryin to get a summer lady...ya know someone to chill with but nothing serious....I'm just an easy goin guy...I don't need a stage 5 clinger! I think it's important to stay fit, I like to eat healthy too...all those veggies n fruits-especially now that I'm like a workout star! I gotta fuel this god given miracle body of mine! So yea a short post but I've got studyin to do...bleh!!!! Anyways over and out!!

So today I was struttin' my stuff through campus and I found this tight ass jean display!! It was like I could pick from any pair of jeans I wanted and now have my own pair of tight ass legs! Totally awesome, right homies? Anyway, I now have super tall and sexy legs and I can strut my stuff like no other Charleston brother can! The ladies dig me already, but with these legs and the height I get, beware of this stud with the strut!!!

I am soooo tall I can definitely pull the chicks cuz Check-the-Stud is sooooo damn sexaaay!! School COOL

Hey there ladies and gents. Well since the weather was super bummin today, we Charleston brothers had time in our schedule to go to class at CSUEB. We figured there would be no honeys walkin around in mini skirts today so why not go learn somethin?!? Isn't it just our luck though....the teacher cancelled class :( So we decided to have a little photo shoot to show you we aren't just about partying....we think a lot too, intellectuals ya know? Anyway after this pic and a long day at school (wink wink) we bounced and went back home. Hopefully the weather clears up so we can get back to hollerin at some scantily clad ladies! This is for all the mothers out there! Happy Mother's Day! Us Charleston boys sure know how to treat our mama-breakfast in bed, flowers, starbucks run for the fave, bomb dinner-chicken parmesan, some new lotions that she loooved and just showering her with appreciation. We love our mom so much-man she brought us into this world we better show respect. We are biased but we really do believe that our mom is the best, we feel so lucky to have such an amazing mom. We hope all you out there celebrated with your mom today and to all the moms we hope you know you are appreciated! The world is a better place because of moms, dads are nice but moms just can't be replaced. This sure was a good kick off to what is hopefully a good week. Crazy times ahead people, make sure you're keeping up with us!

Union Square Shopping

What's crackin' dudes!? Chester here again for Checking In With The Charlestons! As you can see, I've been one busy dude the past couple days. This morning, I decided to get a jump start on my summer wardrobe and hit up Union Square in San Francisco. You know I am the freshest, best dressed Charleston brother, so I only go to the best shops in SF.



First, I hit up Macy's. This is a must for anyone in the Union Square area looking to get the newest gear. This Macy's is no ordinary Macy's. This is like a SUPER Macy's. The have all the best brands here like Levi, Ralph Lauren, Sean Jean, and Armani, for when I need to get my grown and sexy on. The men's store is a whole different building than the woman's so if you go in there and only see dresses, don't trip, the men's store is across the street.



After Macy's I went down the block to Niketown. When it comes to athletic gear, you gotta go with Nike. They have the best quality products and they look better than anything else out there. The Niketown store is just as big as the Macy's store. Even if your not looking to buy anything, every sports fan should go inside and check it out because there is sports memorabilia all over the place. Heads up though, be prepared to drop some serious dough in here if your going to buy something. Most of the stuff in here is pretty exclusive so you are going to pay premium prices.

A Day at the California Academy of Sciences

San Francisco, to be exact, at the California Academy of Sciences, SF's Museum and Planetarium. And let me tell you folks, this place is amaaaaaaaaazing! It has craaaazy exhibits to look at from a real live 4-story Rainforest, and the Planetarium, to a real Living Roof!!!



I mean, it was seriously craaaazy! So many things to look at and only a day to look at it all. The tickets aren't even that expensive either. I am pretty sure it cost about $25 buckaroos for an adult, like my sexy ass self! The ladies know what I am talking about! Wooooooo-weeeeeeee! I would have to say that my personal fave was the Aquarium! It was beautiful, and yes a REAL MAN can admit to something or even someone being beautiful! If you haven't been to the Academy of Sciences, you should really go hit up the place man, seriously dudes!! I even made a few friends...check'em out...

Kick Ass Kicked Ass!

Ok, ok, OKAY! I just went to the movies to see Kick Ass, and can I say…it totally kicked ass! It’s totally twisted, but it’s way funny too.  Nicolas Cage is such a bad ass, and Hit Girl, what can I say. Who doesn’t love an ultra-violent 12-year-old superhero, whom, by the way, is a chick! Girls can totally kick ass too. She wasn’t just up agains kids either. She was fighin’ real men!

I know the guys out there can’t WAIT to see this film, and chicks, you probably don’t want to go cause you are thinking it’s gonna be Kill Bill bloody, but it’s not that bad. There is definitely killing, but not much blood, really. Please your man and go check it out!

Drinko De Mayo!!!!

Que Pasa Amigos!??!? Like my sombrero??? I knew you would. Chester Charleston here checking in from one of my many Cinco de Mayo stops. If this is what the rest of the night has in store for me.....I am soooooo down! I've had a tough week guys, 3 midterms and workin non stop....not to mention 4 dates, each one a different saucy senorita of course. I need to celebrate hard tonight and forget all that stress. Chase takes girly baths to relax, but I like to party like a REAL sock would. My friends and I are gettin started tonight in Alameda, first stop is the Churchward Pub where we always meet hotties like these. After we say a few hellos to our man Jose Cuervo, we'll jump on BART and head into San Francisco's Mission district for some more fiesta-ing. I have feeling, tomorrow's gonna hurt dudes.

Monday night dinner

Sup fools...hope everyone had a good weekend and took my advice to take a bath! Man I slept like a baby that night....knocked me out! Today was beautiful too-the weather was perfecto! like that-perfecto-I've been workin on mi espanol...I actually celebrated Cinco de Mayo early and did it up big tonight with margaritas! Chinatown Street Art

What is up my peeps?! Man, this weekend flew by! Yesterday was so nice, I had to get outside and do something. The sun was out and so were the mini skirts and sun dresses, you know what I'm sayin! When I got downtown I decided to check out one of the most forgotten spots of SF, Chinatown dude!


Chinatown was crackin as usual. Tons of people walking around, tons of cheap deals, and tons of Chinese food! But there was something even more crackin there yesterday. One of the dopest graffiti artists from Europe hit up a wall in Chinatown! The artist goes by Banksy. If you never heard of him you better check yo self because this dude is legendary. And for him to be in SF and hit up a wall is crazy!! This is the tag he did in Chinatown by Commercial & Grant.


I found out later that he tagged other places all over the city! I'm bummed I didn't get to see the other tags in person, but here are some pretty sweet pics of the work from SFist.
